KETOTIF Syrup (Ketotifen 1 mg /5 ml), 100 ML

Description

It is a potent antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer. It has also eosinophil inhibitor activity and has been used in the prophylactic treatment of asthma and symptomatic relief of allergy.

DRUG OF CHOICE FOR:

• Asthma
• Allergy
• Patient With Infection
• Acid aspiration

DOSAGE:

Adult: The usual dose is 1 mg twice daily with food; if necessary dose should be increased to 2 mg twice daily. Initial treatment in readily sedated patients is 0.5 – 1.0 mg at night.

Child: under 2 years, it is not recommended;

Child over 2 years 1 mg is recommended twice daily with food.
