Description

Ofex 400 Capsule contains Cefixime 400 mg, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and gonorrhea. Each box contains 4 capsules, designed for once-daily oral administration as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

INDICATION

For the treatment of infections due to sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as: Salmonella typhi, Eschirichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Neisseria gonorrhoea, Pneumonia, Haemophilis influenza, Streptococcus, Pyrogenes, Moraxella catarhalis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adult doses of 200 to 400 mg daily as a single dose or in two divided doses Children over 6 months & under 50 kg maybe given 8 mg/kg daily as a single dose or two divided doses or as prescribed by the physician.
